Who are we?
We are two guys who have worked with online commerce for several years, and who have now thrown ourselves into 3D printing.
For a long time we have worked with FDM printing ourselves on a hobby level, but would like to try to make a business out of it.
We think 3D printing has a great future, as it has started to become relatively cheap to acquire a 3D printer privately.
We do all our production ourselves, and we believe that the Danes would like to have Danish quality products, rather than Chinese mass production.
We are in favor of environmentally friendly products, and everything we produce and deliver is 100% guaranteed. The plastic products you can buy here in our store will always be printed in 3DE Premium PLA filament. PLA is non-toxic in its basic form as it is made from corn starch or sugar cane, and is therefore a "Bioplastic".
But isn't PLA also biodegradable?
Many people talk about PLA being biodegradable, and that is also partly correct.
PLA is recyclable, biodegradable and compostable. But that doesn't mean that the sea - or any other natural environment - can handle it easily.
It is correct that PLA is a bioplastic made from plants. But that doesn't mean you can throw it in the compost. It must still be recycled on an equal footing with other plastic products. So don't throw it in the wild! :)
You can read more about PLA on our blog.
