This is a simple car phone holder suitable for iPhone 7 and Samsung A5 or other phones of similar width and thickness. The holder can be easily adjusted by changing the side support.
The original holder worked fine, but sat a little too low. When the phone was in the holder, there was no room for the cable connector - the gear lever was in the way. But this version kicks it up a notch.
A positive side effect is that the home button and screen are now within easy reach of the hand resting on the gear stick. Note that there are two versions of the side supports - the original is good for phones without a protective case. The larger holder can easily hold the Samsung A5, iPhone 7 and OnePlus 5 in a case.
