The Parametric Rain Collector is designed to collect and store rainwater at a high altitude, so you can water your garden using gravity, without the need for pumps. The water collector is able to collect rainwater from gutters and send it to a container placed as high as possible. This is done using the hydrostatic pressure of the water, making pump-free watering possible. The water collector has a leaf trap that prevents leaves from entering the hose. It is parametric with variables for the main parameters, including: internal pipe diameter, whether the top and bottom pipes have the same diameter or not (flared pipe connection), the diameter and thread pitch of the hose connector, the percentage of the pipe section to be used for collection, and whether there is a "key" in the pipe. The print has 87 mm internal diameters, about 90 external, and the pipes are connected by both expanding and reducing the diameter of both ends. The hose coupling is standard ½",
