This barista knockbox is a functional accessory designed to make handling used coffee grounds after espresso brewing easy and efficient. It helps maintain a clean and organized coffee area while protecting your portafilter from unnecessary wear and tear.
The knockbox is constructed to accommodate a wooden bar (approximately 18-20 mm in diameter), which acts as the primary striking surface. This provides a solid and stable platform for emptying coffee pucks.
Two different design versions are available: v1, as pictured, and an 'improved' v2 version. The v2 model is slightly enlarged at the rear, and the wooden bar is moved slightly forward for a potentially optimized user experience. To reduce noise during use, hot glue or a rubber material can be applied for acoustic dampening. This essential espresso accessory is ideal for anyone looking to streamline their coffee brewing at home or in a professional setting.
