Improve your listening comfort and tailor the sound with these vented base plates, specially developed for Abyss AB-1266 (Phi) headphones. This accessory allows you to adjust the headphones' ventilation, meaning you can wear them in a more traditional over-ear manner, independent of the earpad pressure which is the primary tool for sound adjustment.
Each base plate adds 2mm in height compared to the original version. With the included 18 spacers per side, you get precise control over the airflow, enabling detailed fine-tuning of the soundstage to suit your personal preferences.
The base plates are available in two versions: one with a flat inner surface and one with a curved inner surface, which can potentially help reduce standing waves and deliver even clearer sound. They are designed to be compatible with a variety of earpads, including well-known brands like Audeze, Dekoni, and Angle Pads, giving you the freedom to explore and personalize your Abyss AB-1266 (Phi) listening experience.
