The garage door adapter for the 2nd gen Ring Alarm Contact Sensor is an easy and quick solution for securing your garage door. Mount the Ring contact sensor (the larger part) with the supplied self-adhesive tape to the longer flip of the hinge, right on the edge. Use a piece of double-sided tape or similar material for the shorter hinge flip on the back, to attach it to the garage door. The contact sensor's magnet goes just below it (attach it with the included self-adhesive directly to the garage door), leaving about 2-3mm between them as there is a slight magnetic attraction. This design is based on the Parametric Hinge scad. The parameters are fine-tuned to fit the Ring Alarm Contact Sensor and a necessary swing, and one of the flaps was cut down to make it smaller.
