Nimble V1 Adapter for Smart Effector

This adapter is specifically designed to enable the mounting of the Nimble extruder onto the innovative Smart Effector PCB developed by Escher3D and Think3dPrint3d. It utilises an E3D hot end mount, ensuring an integrated and functional solution for your 3D printer. The adapter contributes to a stable extruder setup, crucial for achieving consistent and precise printing results.

Installation is straightforward; the adapter bolts onto the hot end mount, after which the Nimble extruder is mounted directly onto the adapter. It also includes a depth of 5 mm for the PTFE tube, which helps to clamp it securely in place in the hot end for optimal filament guidance.

For additional functionality, the adapter includes a practical tube holder for connecting a part cooling system, such as a Berd-Air-like system. This holder is positioned slightly offset to maintain full visibility of any LED indicators on printed parts. Furthermore, the design has been continuously improved, including adjustments to spacers and a design that specifically lowers one "foot" close to the six-lead black connector. This makes it easier to release the plug's wire lock or wire clamp and reduces the risk of damage, improving both ease of use and durability.
