This camera mount is specially developed to integrate seamlessly with your Original Prusa MK2 3D printer, offering a practical solution for mounting a Raspberry Pi camera. By placing the camera directly on the printer's bed, you get an optimal field of view, which is essential for monitoring your 3D prints and creating detailed timelapse videos of the printing process.
The design ensures a stable and vibration-free placement of your Raspberry Pi camera, which is crucial for achieving sharp recordings and effective monitoring. It allows you to easily follow every step of your 3D printing project, from start to finish, and document the progress accurately.
For installation, the existing M3x8 screw holding the printer bed must be replaced with a longer M3x10 screw to ensure the camera mount is fastened correctly. If your Raspberry Pi is mounted in the top left corner of the frame, a longer camera cable may also be necessary to ensure optimal functionality and flexibility.
