Sage / Breville Tamper Station for 54mm Duo Temp Portafilter
Highlights
This Tamper Station is designed for the 54mm Portafilter of the Sage Duo Temp Pro, as I feared that compressing the coffee in the filter could damage the countertop or the spout outlets.
It fits the Sage / Breville portafilter nicely with a little play on all sides for comfortable use. From what I have seen on the Sage website, this should also fit portafilters from other Sage / Breville models, as they always seem to use the same size, except for the Bambino, which might also fit (depending on the placement of the two spout nozzles).
The portafilter rests completely unsupported in this tamper station, which means you don't have to hold it while pressing down on it. Of course, it can also be used as a stable stand while scooping in your ground coffee if you are not using a grinder and a funnel.
