This Raspberry Pi 2 B+ mounting cage allows you to mount your Raspberry Pi B+/2 so that it sits level on the table even with a heatsink mounted on the bottom.
There are two versions of the holder:
- One with a flat base for simple table stand or for gluing to the flat Cap Rail mounting base plate
- One with clips to snap onto the version of the mini Cap Rail mount that has teeth
Tap the holes with M2.6 tapping cuts before mounting the Pi onto it.
Tip: The clips snap really tightly onto the notches of the Cap Rail mounting plate. I carefully bent the clips a little before putting these two together. You need to use quite a bit of force to snap them together. But the PLA I used for printing was flexible enough. Once clicked together, it is not designed to be taken apart again.
