Note that Tesla continues to supply power to its USB ports even after you have turned off the car. It is therefore recommended to invest in a USB cable with an on/off switch to avoid the Qi pad draining power when not in use. Also, be aware that this product is designed for the updated version of the Model S, and it is uncertain whether the centre console is different on older models.
