This canopy is designed to provide comprehensive protection for your Caddx Vista system and a standard camera when mounted on Pyrodrone UL3 and potentially UL5 drone frames. With a focus on durability and functionality, the canopy securely attaches with standoffs, ensuring that both the camera lens and sensitive cables are well-protected from impacts during flight.
The canopy features a lightweight construction of approximately 9 grams, which is advantageous for the drone's overall weight and flight performance. It is compatible with M2 25mm standoffs, and in certain setups, 20mm standoffs can also be used if there is no receiver in between and a desire to keep the ESC closer to the frame. This solution not only offers protection but also contributes to a tidy setup where cables are kept organized. Although it is not a dedicated cable strap holder or cord holder, the canopy's design helps manage and protect wiring, reducing the risk of damage and ensuring a more robust drone build. It is a practical accessory for your FPV drone, combining protection with a thoughtful design.
