The original brackets for the Ender 6 printer can pinch the 16mm cable conduit connecting the hotend and the connector. These improved cable brackets are designed to provide an optimal solution, ensuring your cables and wiring move freely and effortlessly.
With a focus on functional stability, these brackets help minimise potential issues such as filament jams by keeping the Bowden tube correctly aligned. The design takes the centre of gravity into account and reduces unwanted movement, which can contribute to a more consistent print quality. The brackets are easily mounted on the printer's metal frame using the same bolts as the originals, and a smart edge in the conduit holder allows the cable conduit to rotate freely, reducing stress on the printer's motors.
For the best durability and performance, especially in an enclosed printing environment, it is recommended to print these brackets in a heat-resistant material such as ABS. This ensures that the brackets maintain their shape and function even at temperatures around 50 extdegree C, where materials like PLA might otherwise deform.
