This bracket is designed to provide a practical and efficient solution for mounting the power supply for your TAZ 5 printer. By mounting the power supply vertically on the side of the printer, just above the electronic control box, a significant space saving is achieved. This helps to optimize your workstation and create a more organized environment around the printer.
The bracket ensures a stable attachment using 4mm screws directly on the back of the power supply, where they replace the original flat-head screws. For attachment to the printer frame, 5mm screws and aluminum extrusion nuts are used, guaranteeing a robust installation. It is recommended to use low-profile heads on the 5mm bolts to avoid potential interference with the printer's moving parts.
This solution not only improves the overall aesthetic but can also contribute to tidier cable management. Although some users choose to modify the power supply cord exit or add a 120V socket, these modifications are not necessary for simply mounting the power supply with the bracket.
