This is an adapter that replaces the rubber plug on top of a "Mount It!" brand monitor stand. It allows you to mount an IKEA Tertial arm lamp (or similar lamp) on top of the monitor stand. The product is used together with a Logitech C270 webcam mount. It allows the webcam to be placed almost anywhere around the desktop.
