This is a cheap and effective solution for a monitor stand using an IKEA EKBY LAIVA plate. The legs for the stand are 3D printed and divided into two parts that screw together for easy printing. To attach the upper part to the IKEA board you need some self-tapping screws (wood studs), in this case I use 3.75mm diameter x 25mm long screws. Something shorter should also work.
In this particular case I am using five legs and the stand is solid. In case there is some misalignment, it can be corrected after installation using the screws on the legs to make the stand level. The space under the stand is 83 mm.
