This low-profile rear-mounted power supply bracket for the Elegoo Neptune 2 is designed to optimize your 3D printer setup. By lowering the position of the power supply, it helps to avoid interference with, for example, a light strip's power cable and simultaneously contributes to lowering the printer's centre of gravity. A lower centre of gravity can increase stability during printing, potentially leading to improved print quality.
The bracket is designed to accommodate thicker power supplies and ensures that all mounting holes fit precisely while ventilation holes remain free for optimal air circulation. A special version of the bracket also includes a practical cable mount for a cable chain for the heated bed, as well as an end cap with a cable guide for the X-axis/extruder cable. This helps to keep your cables organized and protected, creating a cleaner and more functional workstation.
For the best installation and function, extra feet for your printer may be necessary as the lowered power supply is thicker than the original extrusions. It is also recommended to rotate the Y-axis motor 90 degrees to prevent its connection from being pinched.
