Roto Water Barrel Adapter for Standard Faucet and Gardena

Adapter for Roto rain barrels that fits standard faucets and a Gardena adapter. The adapter allows you to use a (metal) faucet of your choice, with a standard 1/2 inch thread. You can then connect a Gardena hose to this faucet. This solution solves the problems with the original plastic faucet sitting too close to the barrel and with the non-standard thread on the barrel for the faucet. In the picture you can see the difference between the standard Roto faucet and the one I installed using the adapter.
