TAZ 5 Power supply bracket

This bracket is designed to provide a practical and efficient solution for mounting the power supply to your TAZ 5 printer. By mounting the power supply vertically on the side of the printer, just above the electronic control box, a significant space saving is achieved. This helps to optimise your workstation and create a more organised environment around the printer.

The bracket ensures a stable attachment using 4 mm screws directly to the back of the power supply, where they replace the original flat head screws. For attachment to the printer frame, 5 mm screws and aluminium extrusion nuts are used, which guarantees a robust installation. It is recommended to use low-profile heads on the 5 mm bolts to avoid potential interference with the printer's moving parts.

This solution not only improves the overall aesthetics but can also contribute to neater cable management. Although some users choose to modify the output of the power supply cord or add a 120V socket, these changes are not necessary for the actual mounting of the power supply with the bracket.
