The Nest Protect v2 Mounting Ring is a robust and concealed mounting accessory designed for the Nest Protect v2. This holder is only compatible with the non-battery-powered version of the Nest Protect v2, which is typically located in the ceiling power box. You can use four screws to mount it, but although two screws should be sufficient, it is ideal to use all four to ensure a stable installation.
