Effective Connection for Fluid Systems
This 2" PVC pipe end plate with a 10 mm silicone hose adapter is designed to create a secure and effective connection between a silicone hose pipe and a standard 2-inch PVC pipe system. It is ideal for a variety of fluid transfer systems where a reliable and leak-proof connection is essential.
The main part of the end plate is shaped to sit snugly around the outside of a 2-inch PVC pipe with an outer diameter of 60.325 mm (2.375 inches). The integrated adapter is specifically designed to fit silicone hoses with an inner diameter of 10 mm to 12 mm. This ensures easy installation and a robust connection that minimises the risk of leaks during operation, especially when reinforced with silicone or plumbing glue for a watertight seal.
This product is particularly suitable for applications such as hydroponic systems, where controlled delivery of water or nutrient solution is required, as well as for DIY irrigation systems and experimental fluid management systems. For optimum durability and water resistance, the end plate can be produced in materials such as PETG or ABS. If the part is to be used in connection with drinking water or food, the use of FDA-approved or food-approved materials is recommended.
