This holder is specially designed to provide a safe and easily accessible place for your VHF handset on the binnacle railing of a Beneteau 37. It ensures that the handset is always within reach when you need it, while keeping the railing free so you can easily grab it.
To keep the handset securely attached, a strong Velcro strap can be used to create a sturdy loop that acts as an effective strap holder for the radio's belt clip. A small rubber pad between the Velcro and the holder can prevent unwanted slippage.
The holder is optimised for outdoor use, and although it can be made in PLA, PETG is recommended for better UV resistance and longer durability in marine conditions. The thoughtful design includes a slightly raised bottom support, making cleaning under the holder effortless. Mounting the holder on the railing is done by drilling holes and attaching it with stainless steel screws, ensuring a stable and reliable installation.
