Bracket for detachable 3.5 mm jack cable for AKG K612 headphones

This bracket is designed to upgrade your AKG K612 headphones by enabling the installation of a 3.5 mm jack in the left cup. It replaces the original fixed cable outlet, giving you the freedom to use a detachable cable. This significantly improves the flexibility and usability of your headphones.

The bracket is precisely dimensioned; the hole for the wires through the bracket is elliptical (2.3 x 3.3 mm), and the hole for the jack has a diameter of 8.2 mm. To ensure an optimal fit, minor adjustments to the original headphone housing may be necessary.

In addition to the AKG K612, the bracket can potentially also be used for other AKG headphone models such as K701 and K601, as these models often share a similar cup design. There is also the possibility of compatibility with the K400, K401, K500 and K501 series, where the cable outlet and outer cover appear uniform. It is important to note that the bracket is not compatible with the AKG K301 and K300 models due to differences in their construction and cable outlet.
