It functions as a stable cable holder for your USB cable, as it is mounted directly on the side of the control box. By securing the USB cable, you can effectively prevent accidental retraction during the printing process, thereby ensuring an uninterrupted connection.
In addition to being a secure cable holder, the design also includes an intelligent square 'wing'. This wing is designed to be placed along the front of the left Z-column and provides stable support that keeps the filament spool correctly positioned. This contributes to a smoother material feed. The product is designed for the original control box and is easily mounted with the existing screws. If your control box is located on the right side of the printer, the model can be mirrored to achieve the same functionality, provided that the mounting holes are symmetrical. The USB cable can easily be routed through a cutout and placed in a slope on the back of the part, so that the control box can stand close to the printer without the cable creating interference.
