The Cubic Sphere / Spheric Cube from JuicedCustoms is a unique educational tool, made from a 40mm cube from which a 40mm cylinder is cut from all three viewing angles. From each viewing angle, this object appears as a circle, but in 3D it is still a square. This demonstrates that three round projections will not necessarily result in a sphere.

This product can be used in the classroom to learn and understand the value of projected views in 3D modelling, but also to teach students the importance and complexity of mathematics.

For fans of Dungeons & Dragons, this object may be the most useless cube, as it will only roll in two directions. But it can still be a fun gift idea.

After printing, the product may require minor sanding or possibly a coat of paint to make it even more attractive.
