This low-profile rear-mounted power supply bracket for the Elegoo Neptune 2 is designed to optimise your 3D printer setup. By lowering the position of the power supply, it helps to avoid interference with, for example, a light bar's power cable, while also helping to lower the printer's centre of gravity. A lower centre of gravity can increase stability during printing, potentially leading to improved print quality.
The bracket is designed to accommodate thicker power supplies, ensuring that all mounting holes fit precisely while ventilation holes remain free for optimal air circulation. A special version of the bracket also includes a practical wire bracket for a cable chain for the heated bed, as well as an end cap with a wire holder for the X-axis/extruder cable. This helps to keep your cables organised and protected, creating a cleaner and more functional workstation.
For best installation and function, additional feet may be required for your printer, as the lowered power supply is thicker than the original extrusions. It is also recommended to rotate the Y-axis motor by 90 degrees to prevent its connection from being pinched.
