This is a drilling guide for Ikea METOD kitchen cabinets designed to help you attach objects in Ikea style. The fitting requires precise drilled holes, which this guide makes possible with millimeter accuracy.
Guides are designed to be consumable and can be discarded after several uses as they can easily be damaged by drilling.
You will need Ikea screws and 3 drills, a 5 mm, an 8 mm and a flat 15 mm drill. There are three guides included that are calibrated to place the holes for standard Ikea 19mm planks.
The process is as follows: position the planks and mark the position of the holes with a pencil. Align and position guide-5 on the main plank, using the slot to adjust the perfect alignment with the pencil mark.
