This is an iPad/iPhone dock designed to fit an iPad in a very thick case. The case can be folded backwards to fit inside the dock and used as a digital photo album when docked. An insert has also been added for use when docking an iPhone or iPod to support it in the deep opening. In general, this design is for someone who has an iPad that fits in an opening that is approximately 5mm in front of the centre line of the 30-pin connector and 15mm behind it. I added a semi-circular opening to allow the home button to be used when a device is docked. The hexagonal holes protruding from the front of the dock are intended to redirect audio from an iPhone's speaker and to an iPhone microphone.
