Description
This insulating bracket is designed to optimise the use of your IR blaster in complex AV setups, especially where multiple TV boxes are located close to each other. It addresses the common problem of an IR blaster inadvertently controlling the wrong device in tightly packed cabinets or racks. By isolating the output of the IR signal, the bracket ensures that your remote control signals only reach the intended TV box, eliminating confusion and improving your control experience. The product is highly suitable for environments where video is distributed via HDMI extenders over long distances and where IR blasters are used to send remote control signals back to the source equipment. Two versions are offered to meet different mounting needs: One version holds the IR blaster firmly and directs the signal, ideal if your blaster already has double-sided tape. The other version includes a handy tab for easy attachment of the bracket with ordinary tape. For added flexibility, the bracket is equipped with a small hole in the bottom, making it easy to remove the IR blaster if your setup needs adjusting.
The IKEA part I ordered was a perfect fit. the price per piece is a bit high but much cheaper than a whole new IKEA lamp. The plastic used by weshape looks less fragile so I expect it to be long lasting.
