This upgrade is designed to make the process of replacing nozzle assemblies significantly easier, especially when the thermistor and heater cables need to be routed through the channel.
The widened opening in the cable channel simplifies the insertion and removal of cables, eliminating the cumbersome manoeuvring often associated with the original, narrow channel. Although the opening is wider, the cables remain securely in place thanks to their natural rigidity, especially if the stiffer heater cables are inserted after the thermistor cables. In addition, the printfan assembly acts as an additional cable holder, effectively preventing the cables from falling out when properly positioned.
