Secondary ventilation duct for Raspberry Pi Ice Tower Cooler
Highlights
- Designed to add a secondary fan to the Raspberry Pi 4, optimized for use with the original Ice Tower Cooler (not the low-profile version).
These are small ducts used to add a secondary fan to the Raspberry Pi 4 with the Ice Tower cooler (original, not low-profile version).
The idea of the secondary fan is to blow air between the base of the Ice Tower heatsink and the Pi's PCB, cooling the other components on the PCB and providing additional cooling to the heatsink by blowing air past the heat pipes.
These ducts can yield about 3-5 degrees of cooling depending on the fan and the quality of the fan mounted on the heatsink.
These ducts take only about an hour to print and can be attached to the Pi and the Ice Tower using the standard Ice Tower screws.
