The bed wire management solution is designed for the Prusa i3 and compatible printers to ensure that the bed heater wires remain protected, thus preventing damage such as fraying or short circuits. This component is available in left and right versions from the centre, depending on where the motor is mounted on your printer.
The unit is easily mounted on the bottom chassis plate of the bed and requires no specific mounting screw. This makes it a flexible choice that fits many different types of beds. If necessary, you can easily customise the mounting holes by heating a screw and pushing it through the plastic.
It is recommended to print with a high shell/external layer thickness for better stability, while the inner shell can be weaker; however, it should not be below 20% for an optimal result.
